Colin Ryan in The Secret Theatre at Shakespeare's Globe
COLIN RYAN is currently in rehearsals for The Secret Theatre by Anders Lustgarten which will run at the Sam Wanamaker Theatre at Shakespeare's Globe from 16 November to 16 December. Directed by Matthew Dunster, the play centres on spymaster Sir Francis Walsingham and the surveillance network he ran from the heart of Elizabeth I's court.
Connor Hughes in Little Women at Hope Mill Theatre
CONNOR HUGHES is now in rehearsals for the European premiere of Little Women, a musical based on the classic novel by Louisa May Alcott with a score by Grammy Award winner Jason Howland. Connor will play the part of Laurie at Manchester's Hope Mill Theatre from 9 November to 9 December.
Melissa Allan in A Christmas Carol at Old Vic
It has just been announced that MELISSA ALLAN will play Little Fan in A Christmas Carol at the Old Vic, in a cast that includes Rhys Ifans. Matthew Warchus will direct a new version of the story by Jack Thorne which will run from 20 November to 20 January.

SEAN KINGSLEY and JANET FULLERLOVE will both soon appear in the New Wolsey Theatre's production Oxy and the Morons. The new punk musical by Paul Sirett, Mike Peters and Steve Allan Jones will run from 12 to 21 October.
Patrick Romer in the RSC's Imperium
PATRICK ROMER is now in rehearsals for the RSC's Imperium: The Cicero Plays, Mike Poulter's new version of Robert Harris' bestselling Cicero series. The event will be staged as six plays in two performances and will be directed by Gregory Doran. Imperium Part I: Conspirator will run from 16 November to 10 February and Imperium Part II: Dictator will run from 23 November to 10 February.

Having just shot an episode of the long running series Vera in Newcastle, ADRIAN IRVINE is now in rehearsals for Pride and Prejudice which will run at Nottingham Playhouse from 15 to 30 September and York Theatre Royal from 4 to 14 October. The new comic adaptation by stand-up comedian Sara Pascoe will be directed by Susannah Tresilian with original music by Emmy the Great.
Marcus Griffiths shooting Father Brown and Endeavour
MARCUS GRIFFITHS, having recently played an American golfer in Father Brown, is now playing fictional political activist Marcus X in an episode of the fifth series of Endeavour. The story is being directed by Robert Quinn, with Neil Duncan producing for Mammoth Screen.
Gina Isaac in A Streetcar Named Desire on tour
GINA ISAAC will play Blanche DuBois in Rapture Theatre's production of A Streetcar Named Desire. The show opens at the Palace Theatre in Kilmarnock on 2 September and tours Scotland, closing at the Kings in Edinburgh on 7 October.

Solomon Israel in Kingdom Come at the RSC
SOLOMON ISRAEL is currently in rehearsals for Kingdom Come which will run from 7 to 30 September as part of the RSC's Mischief Festival at the Other Place. The piece will be devised in a collaboration between the cast and creators Gemma Brockis and Wendy Hubbard, and will be set in 1640 on the brink of civil war.

SEAN KINGSLEY is currently rehearsing for Jesus Christ Superstar which returns to Regent's Park Open Air Theatre this summer following a sell-out run last year which earned the production an Oliver Award for Best Musical Revival. He will again be playing Annas in the show which will run from 11 August to 23 September.

Welsh actress LOIS MELERI-JONES will be playing the semi-regular part of Lowri in the dual language series Craith. The thriller is being filmed in North Wales and Cardiff and is being directed by Gareth Bryn for Fiction Factory who produced the successful detective series Hinterland.
Jessica Baglow in First Words at Bolton Octagon
JESSICA BAGLOW will be appearing in First Words - A Season of New Writing at the Octagon Theatre in Bolton from 23 June to 8 July, in which she will perform Blue written by Charlotte Josephine. Jessica is again working with the Octagon's Artistic Director Elizabeth Newman as well as director Ben Occhipinti.
Marcus Griffiths nominated for 2016 Ian Charleson Awards
We're thrilled that MARCUS GRIFFITHS has been nominated for the Ian Charleson Awards for his performance as Laertes in Hamlet at the RSC. The Awards, which are presented by the Sunday Times and National Theatre, reward the best classical performances by actors under the age of 30. The winners will be announced in a ceremony at the National Theatre on Monday 5 June.
